Oddly enough I stumbled across this post. I was searching to see what old spyy yoyos were still floating around . I’ve always said that my OG red pistolero will be in my casket ever since the day I received it form the original release. I bought it when I first hit the deans list in college as a reward for myself. A few quarters later I took a psychology of death and dying course and we all had to write a living will as an assignment . Best believe my pistolero was listed in it.
I’m not going until all of my yoyos have been worn out and buried. I guess that means immortality for me!
To much playing to do, no time for dying!
I always keep the boxes, and inside I keep a paper with the description and rough price. One of these days I’m going to make a spreadsheet.
I’ve told several people about this and remind them regularly enough that my collection does have value. Whomever of them that wants the challenge of selling them can go for it.
Thanks, you have some great ideas I hadn’t considered.
It’s a beautiful yoyo, I always wanted a red pistolero!
But I’ve never seen one for sale:(I guess all its owners want to be buried with it,LOL
I hope to get lucky one day and be able to find one…
That’s a very compassionate philosophy.
I guess the following is the best plan that I can think of…
When I drop dead, hopefully not very soon, I have a plan for my 1500+ yoyos.
I want to have my body and all my yo-yos, neatly packed into a genesis capsule.
I want that capsule to be shot into outer space and land on Avatar.
Once the genesis capsule regenerate my life source, I will release myself from the capsule, and take a sack of yo-yos to the nearest Navi village.
I am thinking that it’s possible, not probable, but possible for the 10 foot tall Navi to be pretty good 4A players.
I also believe that they would be pretty sharp at weaponizing some of the yo-yos.
Ya gotta have a plan….
First born kiddo gets them, she has a claim in for them and sometimes crudely says, when you die, though I don’t wish for that, I am going to take all your yoyo’s.
She might share them not sure, yet she is making sure she gets them all.
