What did you get in the mail today? 2021

I know I already posted a Pic of this. But hey it’s too cool not to post another.
I like the Zipline string that I tried it with just fine. But it does match. :sweat_smile:
So I made one for it.

I love the Day Tripper. I haven’t been able to put it down all week.

That string looks gorgeous with it! You nailed the colours!

@Canspin65 … Do you have a favorite thread to use while making string? I made some and its a bit stiff on the hands.

Honestly think I’m going to have to say trip. Forgot how good it is. Haven’t had one since the original release. I would say the trip is faster and more stable then the diptych and about just as fast as the canvas with more stability. Seems like they perfected it with the trip in my opinion.

@Shwa
I have only been making stings for a few weeks now. I generally use 100% poly, as it’s what I have around. I have made few cotton ones for my fixed axles. And some poly cotton mixes. I haven’t been very scientific about is so far. But is am amazed at the different “hands” of each type and blend.
I got three Zipline strings with my new day tripper and I have to say, the difference in how the yoyo plays is shocking. I will definitely be going back and trying different string on my other yoyos.
It seems like a couple of strands of nylon make for a more slippery string.
When this stupid lock down ends I will go buy some different poly, cotton, and nylon thread to conduct some through experimentation.
I will post the pics and results as I go.

Nice, I have been reading stuff about this one, but it’s river of molten gold in here…

Gold is good, don’t burn yourself on the molten.
I used this knife last night for service for the first time. If you’re thinking of buying one I highly recommend.

Zero Gravity Basilisk. Really digging it so far.

Another batch of BWC strings, even though I don’t need them. But I wanted red and blue custom nylons!
