Was waiting for three throws from three different sources.
The first one arrived today.
I love it so much! Smooth, comfortable, stable. Amazing.
Now I wonder which will be first to arrive next, Bangarang or Daredevil?

Flame is a fantastic yoyo
Quintuple Mailday!
Got this giant handmade fixie and Bolt2 from @aironish and they are both fantastic! Bolt 2 feel like what I imaging a modern Element X would feel like, and this giant fixie is super fun. Great workmanship, perfect response (for me), and a nice raw wood (un)finish.
MagicYoyo Aurora, just for funsies. Plays like a dead fish, but a dead fish with L E Ds in it!
Cyber Crash, to bring me up to 3/6 in the Crash series (missing Trion, Atomic, and Pory, get at me if you want to let one go). This thing is awesome! Easily as good a player as anything 2-3x the price. Might get another to give my brother in law, since…
Speedaholic X (quietest hybrid I own, by FAR), which I was planning on giving to my brother in law but he can go kick rocks I’m keeping it! I wasn’t expecting power, but it delivered!
I love it so much. I’m completely blown away by it.
Alright, my mail day round up
Alright, so first up, all of these are pre-releases from YYF, I got them over the weekend and have had time to mess around with them all, if you’d like a review I can do that as well, but figured a brief overview here would suffice.
The three on the bottom are the new 444’s. YYF tried to do an 888 lite with these. I have mixed feelings. The Red/Blue half swap was done by me, I have the twin to this for sale. They are VERY light, fast, and take some getting use to, not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. But still fun and a little different.
Now,
This is the new JDS Shutter. With those thicker walled rims, this may be what the Shutter has bean missing. Now particularly wide, just Japan Design Studio’s Take on the Shutter. I’ve enjoyed this one a lot.
Finally, this is the new non signature bimetal the IQ
It’s big, it’s wide, it’s smooth. Out of the box I wasn’t sure about the IQ. I could tell it was powerful, but the initial thought I had was that it was slow. Shortened my string up a bit and it began to play much better. After the weekend, I have had a hard time in deciding which I like more, the JDS Shutter, or the IQ… pretty sure that was the point behind YYF’s releasing them together in a blind box.
OK, that’s it for now
I, also got a Vulture. But I think they got the name wrong… Because this sucker is watching my chicken noodle soup, like a Hawk🤓
By the way, this is the yo-yo you play in your dreams.
The one that seems like an extension of your will.
If you get a Vulture and you go to sleep later that night and have one of those I can’t miss a trick dreams. You will definitely wake up smiling. As you get out of bed don’t be surprised if the Vulture is in your hand.
And you can pick up right where you left off before you woke up.
That galaxy looks like you’re looking at space through a forest, beautiful.
Glad you guys are enjoying the vulture! I am really happy how the minor tweaks over the prototype 2 made a big difference. Production Vulture is a beast for sure. I am actually so proud haha.
EDIT: Holy crap this thing throws amazing.
I’m sorry but that yoyo is the first of the three on the left? is it a bi-metal with Aurora leds and caps?
Nope! Just an Aurora. Bimetal aurora may fix the problems this one has.
but then you have removed the anodizing on the upper part of the catchzone?
P.S. The Aurora has no problems and does not need any bi-metal updates, the only problem it has are those caps and those circuits … take everything away and you will find yourself the only 52 gr yoyo. completely playable never made … an absolutely impressive item.
Give it a try and let me know.
I believe you! I got it knowing it would not play well with the lights in, so just for fun. It’s not altered in any way, just maybe a trick of my bad dining room lighting.
yes, I’m realizing, looking carefully at the photo that it depends on a lighting effect … it seems to have a dark blue body with the top of the raw catchzone (that’s why I was wondering if it was a bi-metal yoyo).
Taking those two things away from him is a simple job, it takes a maximum of 2 minutes and reversible, with 1 minute you can put everything back together … I highly recommend you try it “naked” and you will see that it will become a surprising yoyo … after the first one I have immediately took another one and for the past two months, I have almost always played with them.
Have fun!
Cheese in chicken noodle soup? Are you some kind of mad genius I need to try this.
