What did you get in the mail today? 2021

Respawn Number 3. Sold the first since it wasn’t my jam for responsive. Got a lite, still didn’t like it for responsive, but set it up unresponsive and liked it, but felt it needed more weight for unresponsive. The classic respawn is a fun unresponsive, not sold on it for 0a though.

I agree, the respawn is a pretty fun little unresponsive when you take out one of the pads and throw in a concave bearing. When its responsive its just a little too chunky and clunky, hard to explain but I’m sure you get it. Much prefer my day tripper or deep state for 0A.

Yup, you just described my exact setup. My favorite bearing 0a out of everything I’ve tried (basically everything besides the daytripper) is the toybania thing.

Sure thing! Will get to it now.

Ooooh weeee! Today is an extra special mail day. A huge thank you to @ThatFlippinGuy for the giveaway and for making this awesome yoyo!

Nothing too special, just got one of the 2 yoyo cases I’ve been after. Will make it super easy to keep my throws safe when I do any kind of business/personal travel.

It’s feels crazy! But in a good way, I defiantly like it. But thank you  my favorites were the peak2 , Akita, and wildfire! All good but the peak2 is so fun

I just snagged a minty 28s peak 2 last week. very fun. Akita is a top 5 throw for me for sure! if you like it you should try orca  it’s basically the mono akita. also very fun

I’ve been craving some fixie play after only throwing responsive on metals and plastic for a while. @djinni_cake hooked me up with a really nice package of stuff to get me throwing wood again.

Glad I got in on this drop and this colorway. The fade is more like grey-to-dark-grey and it’s fantastic. Rims are the same super smooth finish as the body. My first Japanese performance throw and I’m sad I didn’t start getting into it sooner. Light and maneuverable, basically refuses to stop spinning (only time I lost enough spin to stop the combo was when I hit my leg because I am not good), and snappy binds. I checked late last night and there were still some green/black left on yye. Cop if you can!

Chopsticks Gorilla is next on my Japanese list now. Hit me up if you want to sell one that isn’t blue for less than retail

BRINGING THEM 90’s BACK!

Also, where can I get replacement bearings for these. The one I got is a bit worn and has some rust on it (not surprising for how old it is.)

Also does anyone still make cork pads and these cool yellow/black strings?

Managed to score it for 50, and it came with an x-brain that I don’t even want and a leather yomega holster lol.

I believe they are A bearings

Cork Pads would have to be NOS from the Auction Site or BST

Damn dude, thank you. Take about a walking Wikipedia lol

Someone in my pm mentioned getting Duncan friction pads, those basically the same thing?
