The widest that I own would be 48mm, so the Umbra is quite well above that. I use kitty fat aswell btw.

Some guy named Mark just let me try his Umbra and I can tell you that the wideness (is that a word?) really does not stand out. It played great and felt great in the hand. It will take some getting accustomed to, but it is very smooth and seriously a great yoyo.

The Death Adder is fantastic. It seems like I have a very black/white love/hate relationship with hard V throws… I can’t articulate why. What I can say is I love this one.

The G2 Covenant just wasn’t for me, luckily someone else wanted it and was happy to trade a mint condition CLYW Boy! This is much more to my taste!

I have owned and sold/traded quite a few modern CLYW yoyos but for me I think this is a keeper. Nothing about it is extreme but it sure has a lot of power and also quite a floaty feel. I feel that this one is going to grow on me and become a favourite!
