What did you get in the mail for 2020/2021?

Thanks raptor!

Loved the mini review, and also for welcoming me back.
I kind of can’t believe I stopped at the start last time.
I know it’s not a magic bullet but I am looking forward to the responsive Neo to help me train to be better.
Currently working on competing in the trick ladder division in two weeks. Hoping to get to Kwyjibo before I strike out (as I can only do tricks up to the Kwyjibo and need to learn some tricks in between also. Gerbil, pop n fresh, Boingy, these I haven’t learnt yet)

I still can’t do boingy :weary: I should have been trying it every day since I started. but instead I can only do it once in a while when my hands get lucky. I hope you have better fortunes with it! It’s a great looking trick!!

Clear unnamed arrived!! And big big thanks to Jensen Kimmitt who kindly gave his autograph!

I started yoyoing because I watched his videos back then. He is my favorite player from 10 years ago and will be the same as long as I yoyoing…

This unassuming yoyo showed up yesterday. Yep, after playing with it for a bit, the edgeless is a fun one alright. I also got this since Evan mentioned in his own unboxing video that this design is based out of the YYF DNA. I can definitely feel that when I hold it in my hand. It feels quite balanced between center and rim weight so no extremes here.20191113_115217|375x500

Oh dear, I think that horse has grown a few more legs than normal. Yep, you have a Sieipnir. A different horse of a different breed.

Odin’s eight-legged horse was no ordinary horse; in fact, it could be argued that despite appearances (eight legs notwithstanding) Sleipnir was no more a horse than Gandalf was a human.

I go drinking with my Mom at least once a week. We talk. Occasionally she impulse buys something we’ve been discussing and surprises me a few days later.

Last week’s drinking date has resulted in some thread to spin to string.

3 cheers for Mom the Enabler!

Still waiting for a response after my last email. Last I heard back was on Friday. I don’t want to pester the dude so I’m not going to email again until it’s been a week, hopefully they still have the green fade in stock then.

I know it’s not fair to expect it of everyone, but YYF and YYEs customer service is so great it’s set the bar pretty high for me.

Terrible kerning, the words forms two archs, the sleipnir actually have eyes, and not very clean engraving quality.

looks like someone tried to arrange every letter by hand. Also that strange misspelling…

Here’s a real one for comparison.

Now the horse has that evil-looking eye

So what exactly happened here?

(Other than a yoyo company sponsoring a spelling bee champ or something)
