I prefer my endgame with either an airetic slim or markmont draken. I didn’t realize it had that much gap, mine was binding way too aggressively with thicker string. YMMV.

There have been so many fantastic throws recently, but the endgame has stolen my heart. I own ~300 yoyos, I don’t know when I last had a throw that was such a clear favorite. Probably the hitman, it was my absolute #1 throw for several years. I’m curious how it will last with the endgame, it’s only been 6 weeks.

Somebody asked me somewhere for my thoughts on the death adder. It’s close, their profiles are very similar, weight and specs are really close with the endgame ~2mm wider and more gap. The big difference is ring placement, I think the endgame’s weight distribution just really works for me better than anything else I’ve tried. The death adder is a really really good yoyo, I played it a lot today and I loved it. The whole time I was pondering why it doesn’t quite mesh with me like the endgame. I’d be willing to bet @Durfee would prefer his death adder.

I was going to take a picture of the two side by side just to show how close they look, but I managed to leave my DA at the office, I didn’t mean to. The endgame made it home without me even thinking about it, the moment I stood up to leave its string was on my finger. Kinda weird really, if I start calling it my precious somebody please come beat some sense into me and throw the thing into a volcano. No please don’t do that.

I agree that the Endgame binds very well with normal thickness string (my preference) despite its larger gap. If I didn’t know better, I might think it had a smaller than normal gap. And mine is siliconed, so it’s not the pads.

I’ve owned over 300 throws as well (not at one time though!), and the Endgame is one of my current favorites. It’s fantastic in every regard - control, speed, stability, etc… If anything, it might sacrifice a tiny bit of power for feel and agility.

So one night I was on a YouTube YoYo kick and I stumbled upon a video that caught my eye.

I was enamored with the video and the fact that someone decided to combine a yoyo and a spin top. I knew I had to buy one. So I went online to find one and found out that I was about 10 years to late to get one. However I got lucky and found one mint in box on eBay for a really good price.

It is made really well, I honestly was not expecting that. It is comprised of metal, rubber, and some sort of hardened plastic. Most importantly it is extremely fun to play with!

I used to have one years ago but the axle sheared shortly after I got it.

Clever design. Enjoy!

Gradient from @Sinister_Yoyos!
Has some vibe and a nick on the blue rim but still works. I have always kept my Anniversary Edition Gradient on a stand afraid to mess it up. Now I have one to play with! I did swap the side effects.

Anyone else get a YoTricks “Arcade” yet? It’s only available to their Patreon subscribers, at least right now. For me it was FREE since I’ve been a supporter for long enough. It’s not bad:

It plays pretty much as you’d expect from the design.

Nice one! Care to share your initial thoughts on it?

I have only spent a few minutes throwing it so far but from my very first throw it was very apparent that this is a Bape.
However, the addition of the small step in the catch zone lends itself to making this an extremely stable yoyo.
Organic in all of the right ways and fast on the string if you enjoy a bit heavier throw!
It’s a bit hefty, but that was always some of the charm of the original Bapezilla.

Thanks for the insight. I’m hoping he does a second run. Love the boxart and presentation of it too.
