For my mailday…
I finally got a new Saber Raider.
My old one has 25 years of use in it and is badly damaged. (and virtually unplayable) so this is like reuniting with an old friend.

My first unresponsive purchase in over a year lol…been so heavily into 0a that I shelved 1a for a hot minute. Love a good mini and having a D bearing makes it play so much better for a yoyo of this size. Was debating on buying this for the past couple months, sat on it, fell into my deepest state with the Deepest States…and then the colorway sold out on multiple sites. One store still had some and that was my “do now or forever do without” moment.

I didnt get the peak2 when it came out originally seeing the less than positive sentiment.

Things I got in the mail over the past few days:
Red Proje—I mean—Rebirth from @kawaii.kaede.
A Warlock and Clique from @ben_jammin. Only such a legend would sell me a Clique it seems.
And an M2, a couple of my top-3 favourite strings (ZS.Air), and an assortment of lovely stickers from @DragtheCat.
Almost every time I see and hold a new yoyo for the first time, I notice something that never quite came across in photos of it. For the Rebirth, that was the catch zone. For the M2, it’s that little concave ring on the flat part of the cup. But for the Clique, that would be how small it is. With a string fully wound around one side it looks utterly absurd. And yet, due to its weight it plays pretty much like a normal-sized yoyo, just a little harder to throw straight and land on the string. Hurrah!
