I was at a flea market a couple of weeks ago and found a yomega fireball Legacy edition at the bottom of a bin of random junk for a dollar.

The nostalgia was real, maybe too real, so it got me to thinking about my childhood throws…

That’s when I found it, the McDonald’s exclusive yomega x brain that I begged my parents for way back in 2000. After a brief search I was able to find one still in the box and I needed to have it. It just arrived today, and boy, it is a lot LOUDER than I remembered :joy:

The fireball, saberwing, and hyper mirage actually play well, but the x brain still holds a special place in my heart. I’m glad I was able to bring it back into the fold!

With that being said the Plasm outshines all my responsive throws by a mile!

Brookie! I don’t have a DS-61 to compare but so far it seems sick! Idk what’s nqp about it besides maybe the fade between purple/pink isn’t as smooth as the other color transitions.

Part 1: Fades, Tri-Fades, and Bearings

This probably was one of the greatest unboxings I have ever done. Like hands down. It was so overwhelming infact I had to shelve it for a few days and slowly unpackage it all through time. Only now have I been able to sit down and look at it all without being overwhelmed. That’s the Pea Soup promise I tell you. Their string plays and looks amazing! I don’t know what their status on customs will be but they may possibly open them soon. I would wait to see and wait for them to announce it before anything though!!

Silky again is always phenomenal. It is the best string I could play, and these are all kind of experimentals. So there’s lots going on with these!

About half of these are Trifades, and the other half are Fades. Did you know Pea Soup can do even four?? That is impressive! I want to get my hands on one some day!

For now I will update another day. It is really a LOT to unpack. Like 50 string.. So hold tight!

I might have gotten a 5th 3d printer… maybe. In my defense it can do multicolor and I really need that for some packaging in working on for my next release.

Lop Nur and Weasel! The Lop Nur is very nice not overly heavy like you might think. The Weasel is very fun and those spikes are very sharp.

Some of them have varying degrees of ‘specs and lines’ that can be seen in certain light; so the whole colour was marked NQP to be on the safe side. Reminds me of how most of their early fade yo-yos had really funky speckles and colour borders around the fade transition. My Project has that, for instance.

Oh yes, seems like it’s by the same guy (layerinfinity). There’s plenty of free 3d printable models online too though, if your local library has a 3d printer you may be able to get some made for cheap!

I made them.I send them out when someone gets a yoyo from me as an extra goodie. You can buy the STL from LayerInfinity and print your own as long as you aren’t selling them. Otherwise going to LayerInifinity directly is the best way to get them.

Mail day was pretty good to me

MFD - BSP - Rotten Apple II
Empathy - Jonny II - Yellow Matte
YoyoFreaks - Super Freak - Spacegasm
Yoyofreaks - Freak- Spacegasm

Got the BSP as a lottery. Attend the MFD lives y’all. Although the $62 dollars in tariffs on a $105 yoyo blew.
