I had ordered some stuff but I’m on bad terms with yyf it seems or at least with a certain person.
This yo-yo is eDition, an original design by one of my followers on X. It’s small, really easy to throw, and those white POM caps are super cute
Got a super awesome Weekender from a buddy, gifted to me for learning a trick. Also got a pair of Plasms, half swapped. What a mail day
Dang. I’m kicking myself a little for not getting one of each color that purple is incredible! Loving the half swap too!
I think that’s the best looking swap I’ve seen. I bet dark/red would look good. Haven’t seen that one yet.
WHO’S READY TO STOMP SOME WAFFLES!?
Thanks, @AudreySickburn!
I slapped a Poo’n’corn v2 on this puppy
Oh. My. God.
@AudreySickburn - This this feels and PLAYS great!
I surprise myself with how good the poop yoyo plays every time I pick it up.
Kindly request a gap shot at your leisure so that I may see the magic between the grates lol
Love it, thank you
How does that print look that nice
My print quality is a mix of things.
-
Quality materials, I almost exclusively use Proto-Pasta HTPLA because it has a more traditional plastic when printed and is very strong compared to normal PLA.
-
Thin layer lines, almost everything gets printed at 0.01 mm thickness lines or smaller.
-
For the stainless steel filament slow is key, gotta run it at like 35 mm/s so it comes out relatively clean.
-
I gotta give credit to my printers which are on the pricey end and I feel I get what I paid for in terms of results.
-
My real secret sauce: autism. I have a hyper fixation on 3d printing. I test temperature ranges on filament, does this filament perform better at 200 Celsius slowed down? Does it look better at 240 C really fast? What infill pattern will support strength in case of dings but maintain consistency to not affect spin? Can I get away with a 70 degree overhang here if I increase nozzle size? I measure my extruder output and input and adjust esteps. I know my printers inside and out. One time back when I only had one printer I broke the x carriage and then I got really really… elevated on a green substance… and built an entire new x carriage out of zip ties and used that to print replacement parts. I’ll put a picture of that in the 3d printing thread lol.
I’ve got to say I was not expecting this Waffle to be what it is. It feels so solid and it plays REALLY good.
The Honeycomb
I kid you not, not 30 seconds after I put it in my honeysuckle bush for this picture, bees arrived.
It’s gorgeous, and plays fantastic.
Thank you @MinerJ
Just got this one in from EBay. It looks super unique! It’s got horrible vibe but definitely a collector’s piece!
I honestly didn’t think anyone got one of those ghost kickstarter throws as I’ve never seen one posted anywhere. Very neat collector piece
