Historically, MK1 usually comes with OT and this particular one I believe is thin (I normally use OT Normal)

Any tips on setting it up? I double wrapped it around the transaxle but with the included string, response is still slippy. I think using something like Vaseline might help as I have heard that works.

so far i think it’s fantastic! i find it hard to describe yoyos. i never know what to say without sounding like ai generated copy 
i think it feels and looks dope and it’s quite capable. it has more play potential than i can feed it, that’s for sure, and it feels very one drop. obv it is slightly undersized, but doesnt feel small or anything. ive thought about getting one for a while now and im glad i finally did. if you’re interested in od organics i think you’ll enjoy it

Yep, a little Vaseline or thick grease both on the axle and on the seats where the trans axle meets the body can help. Slightly thicker string seems to be more consistent though, as the effect of the grease will fade over time.

What string size/brand would you recommend?
I’m probably the wrong person to ask since I’m new to this, but I’ve had good luck with the bulk cotton here in the YYE shop. I got a couple 25-packs of both the standard and the type 10. The standard is slightly thicker than what comes with Yomega loopers, and the type 10 is quite a bit thicker.
