Got some pretty cool merch today but more importantly an incredible plum wood yoyo made by @davis25565 it plays as good as if looks which is really saying something!

Oh, IK! I have it in red and it’s a bit of a wake up call at first catch. I just got a Waltz and it’s really similar, especially with the rim flare.

Got some S-grades from Canopy. The clear one appears to have a slight pink tinge (awesome) and is super smooth. The black one had a REALLY tight axle which is probably why it’s got a little vibe. I was gonna half swap them but they kind of have a unique character to them which gets lost in the swap.

Catching it like this with the thumb and middle finger, shaping the hand like a heavy metal shadow puppet, has proven most comfortable for me so far.
