Got this Genesis almost a week ago now but haven’t been able to put it down since. Always wanted one of these when I was a kid but even back then anything beyond a plastic was too expensive. This era of YYF is unmatched and it’s crazy how good the Genesis still feels today.

Got a trio of 001 Shell YoYos is their clear offerings, Plastic, Mono and Bi-Metal for about the price of just one average Mono. Would like some more information about Sam S.T. if anyone knows…

I got a vintage Duncan Wheel problem. It’s risky, because you never know if the axle will be rusted out. Got lucky on this one.

The Mono-Metal played the best out of the box, its gram heavier (68g) than the Bi (67g) and was just smoother, would be a real good 3A yoyo. It took me a little bit to tune the Bi-Metal, now after breaking it in, its playing like a Bi-Metal should, the Plastic is really good as well, mine came unresponsive and just needed some minor tuning and breaking in. For beginners these may be frustrating, but if you know what you are doing these are probably the best value in Yo-Yo at the moment. The profile is very Shutter inspired but with the efficiency of a MYY Sharks Honor. Does anyone know who Sam S.T. is ?

I know @mable was using these for 3a for a bit and they’re like busted now. Not the best for durability i dont think. Just uh yeah based on mables experience but they can correct me if i am mistaken
