What are you throwing today?

It’s very easy to look at. And the purple/pink shade is really nice

I have got to say all of your wooden designs are absolutely beautiful. Would you ever think of using an oil to finish one? Just wonder what it would look like or would it hurt the performance?

Thanks!

I usually always finish my yoyos with tung oil/ citrus yoyo blend. I only leave them raw when the customer requests it. It doesn’t affect performance whatsoever.

That is cool! I wonder what some of the more dense woods would do as a yo-yo? Like ironwood

The woods I use are selected for a good functional strength and weight for a wooden yoyo. Super dense woods like ironwood tend to be too heavy for a yoyo to remain comfortable to use.

Purpleheart is the densest wood I’ve used for a fixed axle (if I recall correctly).

Thank you, yeah the pink is super vibrant too. I really like how vibrant the VTWO solid colors are, especially the purple, teal, and blue. they are almost iridescent.

Loving this Fianchetto. I picked it up from the Reddit b/s/t thread after looking for one for a while. The slightly undersized profile is nice, and it’s an absolute joy to throw.

It’s also my first titanium. Definitely a keeper.
