My ibex finally came… my doorman was sitting on it for 5 days. Can’t blame usps for everything i guess.
This thing is great. Very cool. I think the winglet is more aggressive but both are extremly comfortable in the hand. Ibex is a little floatier imo. Very agile as you would expect a Ibex to be and the spin time is unreal.

I go through phases with yoyos, where I’ll throw the same thing for a month or two. Trying to break that and have a little more variety, so here’s what I’ve been playing this week.
Top left is a dollar store yoyo I got to destroy for the giveaway Rain City Skills is doing, and I figured I’d play around with it for a bit to see how bad it actually is. It’s bad.
Been getting into “fixed-axle” play with the Butterfly XT, obviously it’s not a fixie but it plays very responsive and I’ve heard people suggest using it like a fixie do I’m using it to learn until I can get a real wooden yoyo.
Bottom left is the Rain City DTYY, my birthday present to myself. I want to make a review at some point, it’s a really cool little throw.
And bottom right is one of my Circle City Warhawks. This one’s the team edition, I don’t throw it a lot because it’s a really special throw and I don’t want it to get beat up but there’s just something so cool about those iridescent rings I can’t just leave it on a shelf.

I have the same dollar store yoyo; my daughter bought it for me, so it’s actually one of my favorites. (Not to actually play with. It is pretty bad.)

Oh that’s so sweet! I love stuff like that, my nephews have given me stuff before that really shows they pay attention and know what my hobbies are.
It’s not the worst yoyo ever made, so there’s that. I’ve actually played it a bit learning some fixie tricks and it’s ehh. Not abysmal. But definitely not good lol.
But that one from your daughter… You hold onto that forever.

I absolutely love it. I have the titanium bowl extra noodles edition and after playing it knew I needed the 7068. It really is an amazing throw.
