Reading the RSO write-up on the TiSB made me want to throw my old SB2 today.
I have the matching Tom Cat. I would really like to get one of those SB-2’s.
Ok so I have Been seeing the counterweights that include the bearings inside a lot lately, and I have to ask, Why are bearings in counterweights? What is the purpose???
The bearing is intended to help counteract a string’s natural tendency to become twisted during play.
You won’t be disappointed!
Me too!
Unparalleled Antidote. Surprisingly good at grinds and very speedy, would definitely recommend if you are on the fence.
The same idea is applied to poi(fire dancing), except we use fishing swivels at the handle and the head of the prop. Works like a charm, you definitely don’t want chains too twisted up.
Good candidates for 5A
Is that an unholy Grail you got there?
All weekend. My trusty old friend, Replay Pro that I got at the cusp of going intermediate in early fall of 2018. I haven’t thrown it a lot in the last year so I forgot what a joy it is. It reminds me of my yoyo-beginnings when all I wanted was plastics. It was a simpler time and plastic makes me feel like a kid again. A kid playing with and getting joy from a simple toy. I have it strung up with MFD vines phat.
Nice! I’ve never played that yoyo, but it’s on my list for some point. Vines are my favorite bulk string!
Replay is a lot more solid than I had expected going in. I would use mine more if I had a color I liked more
