The shape looks great. The transparent makes it look even better! You could put the SW logo on the inside so it shows through the plastic on the outside.

I have the same one. 2 weeks ago I fell on my throw hand really hard leaving my middle finger really sore so signalling to people in passing cars was difficult but more importantly I worried about throwing then I remembered I had The Author which despite the light weight is a very capable throw. I used that for a few days until the soreness in my finger eased up a little.

Since I’m still into doing stalls and practicing to land kickflips consistently I’ve been using my old Fireball. The shape is so comfy in my hand. I’ve had this yoyo so long I can’t remember when I got it. Response with the starburst was ok but I wanted more (even with lubing the axle), so I put on some Duncan friction stickers right over the starburst and now this thing plays awesome.

Try one side only first. Once that pad wears a little bit then add another pad to the other side. Two brand new pads at once were a bit much.
