It’s so shiny and clean!!!

Yeah I got lucky and found a really clean one a while back. I have plenty of banged up yoyos to take out and about so I play this one inside. It would kill me to damage such a fine piece of engineering, but I still really enjoy playing it. I spent a good hour throwing it today and it will stay on my desk until I decide to rotate something else in.

I’ve got two ding’s on mine already. The were meant to be played.

I can’t argue with that. Play the hell out of them! I enough dinged yoyos to keep some in my shop, some I carry around while out doing yard work, stashed in cars, in my tool box, in my back pack, etc. I like to keep the real special ones, like Death himself, nice and tidy because I’ll probably never find another. I play every yoyo in my collection, but its like a wardrobe. I’m not going to wear a tailored suit to change the oil in my car, I have shop clothes for that.

Getting in some throws while I wait for my late trainee to show up. I’d show him how a bimetal feels to the head when he gets here but I like my Nightmare too much.

It only counts as dangerous if it’s offsetting 5a.

how does it play

I’m still just getting used to it as I only got it today,
um this is kind of a weird description, but it plays just as your would expect it to play looking at it?

It’s not as wide as it looks by the way as the diameter is a little smaller than what seems standard these days.
It’s wide relative to its size, makes it very catchable.

Response is great, not snaggy but great tight binds.

Plays super super stable as you would expect and feels very solid.
At the same time doesn’t have that bricky bi-metal feel.

Um… would I pay $150 for one? probably not but it’s a great yoyo, I think the new price of 120 (without the titanium axle and NSK bearing) seems about fair.

Kinda unique so a good addition to my collection and it looks great while spinning

doesn’t have that bricky bi-metal feel

I felt that! I tend to stay away from bi metals because of that feel.

I’ve been very lucky in that regard.

Companies be like: stable and long spin times!

Me when I receive yoyo: I just bought a brick on string :man_facepalming:t6::sob:

Ah in that sense it is still bricky hahahaha

It’s just that given the size of the rim it’s no where near as bricky as you would expect.
