What yoyo is that?

it’s a knuckle bustin’ sob that’s less forgiving than my theodore, and has the love marks to show it. it’s challenging - keep away from face… i mean, i don’t know what to say. was it what i expected? it was more actually. as a player, as used as it is, it’d not beat - the patina and finish is very unique - it almost a warm grey for you pantone folks, and it plays very smooth. i’m very happy with my wally

One Drop Rev 1. This is my banger as I transition from responsive to unresponsive. Bought a second with an anodizing flaw from One Drop to learn on, and then got two more in two One Drop mystery boxes.

They kept wanting to roll away so it took around 5 minutes to actually take a picture…

Replay Pro is so fun. really awesome yoyo for a cheap price.

I’m loving it, but I have to get some lube for it. Probably going to get a Duncan Freehand NextGen with the lube just so I can try 5A (such a cool style, I really want to try it). I don’t exactly want to spend $200 haha

Nobody in their right mind would spend $200 on a 5A yoyo. Your average sub-$50 yoyo is usually a solid option. I use my magicyo hotdiggity which is only a $30 yoyo. I don’t think I’d subject any of my $50+ yoyos to the dings of 5A.

i use a $12 yoyo for 5A lol.

Is that Duncan one I mentioned a good option for me? Or are there better ones around that price that I could go for?

you can buy a counterweight, and just use the yoyo you have.

If you can get a freehand pro go with it instead of the next-gen. I have both and feel that the pro is superior.

I have been using my SF Motive for the vast majority of my 3 week trip abroad in Malaysia & Vietnam.

As a result the motive is now looking quite beat up with considerable nail vibe (mostly as my attempts at trying 4a on a bimetal lol) but it has now become a firm daily beater with a lot of loving use on it

Edit: the scuffs and damages are not constrained to what’s pictures and has the same amount all over the yoyo on both rims

is that your first Bi-Metal?

I think it might have been.
I forget which order I received my yoyos in haha.

It’s either this or the Banshee SS. I think the Banshee SS was the first I bought but the motive was the first that got delivered maybe.

I now have those plus a Hummingbird and also an Ignition on the way. And have bought and sold an Akita since.

But this is the only bimetal I play with and treat like a plastic. For some reason this yoyo is meant to be played without worrying about consequences. Can’t say I can do the same with the Banshee SS or the Hummingbird to the same degree.
