I like it a lot. But I’m also a big fan of the brand. The Southside is my desert island yoyo after all. I’d put the play-feel of this one right between Eminence, and Noir (1). Balanced, light in play, hearty spin time. If you like what Empathy does, jump on it, my friend.

What’s your ranking of the full Empathy line up?

I’d never really thought about it until now, and it was difficult to put in order. There isn’t one I dislike. Most of these as I ranked them are only a fraction of a point difference in my mind. So much so that if you asked me tomorrow the whole middle of the pack would shuffle. But as of today, this one person’s opinion is:

Ain’t that the curse, and joy of yoyo? Everyone jives different with each yoyo. I do like the Jonny, just not more than the others. Then again, ask tomorrow and it might move up a spot!
