what are your thoughts on the black cannon vs the blunder bus? Been looking hard at the black cannon for a minute now.
FRS Black Canon definitely notches up the challenge (and reward). For me, it is perfect for restoring the fun factor to tricks that have become a bit too “auto-pilot”. Also good for times when I hit a wall with something and the missing element is focus. I don’t really carry yo-yos around, but it is obviously highly portable. Other than the small size, it just feels indestructible.
FRS Blunder Bus is easy to recommend for fans of the brand who want something with modern specs. It’s a fun yo-yo with a comfortable shape and good performance. It lives in a much more crowded segment, but performance/fun-wise I think it is right up there with yo-yos that I consider comparable.

Genesis < Rockstar = Hypernova (Supernova)
Supernova has a better shape, but the Rockstar has more power and feels like a Turning Point version of the Protostar. I also have a Rockstar 2012 and I’m glad to confirm my suspicion that it was a downgrade, but I still like it a bit more than the Genesis.

To the people that PMed me in my couple years of absence about various rare yoyos that I’ve posted about in the past 10-15 years. Sorry, no, I don’t have those fancy yoyos or any other yoyos anymore. I have these 3 unremarkable and low value yoyos and I’m going to keep them.
