Yes. I too scored a Sengoku mystery box. The yellow-Armadillo was one yo-yo they guaranteed. Everything was… Sengoku good. A Sengoku mystery-box is just too good to be true.

The original offer for The Big Box that pulled me in was for the Armadillo (as all the cool kids refer to it) in a previously unreleased colour, a Bishamonten and a Raijin with a random three others.
Frankly, whatever they put in there was always going to be good (and heavily discounted).

Lowkey it feels kind of dumb to buy brand new yoyos on their own when there’s so many mystery boxes with such great value.

Relevant? Heh. Kid, the only thing relevant in 2026 is whether your throw actually spins longer than my patience.
So I decided to break out my W1ld Adrenaline. It’s been a long time since I threw it but I don’t remember it having any stress cracks. I’ve never dinged it or anything. It was mint. So when I took this out I was shocked. It still plays great and is smooth but im a little disappointed. It only seems to be happening on the outside and not in the hub. I bought it brand new from YYE when they first dropped about a year and a half ago. I don’t mind the look I just hope this dosent mean the rim will eventually fall off.

I think it’s crazy they still sell these without a disclaimer. They literally all crack.

Yeah mine cracked too. Im vary of any of these newer throws with a random pc ring on them.

I think it is crazy that manufacturers keep making these kinds of yo-yo’s. Any time I see plastic sandwiched between metal; it is an instant ‘No’ for me.
