Might have to try trading some gummy dice for some fairy crystal lab cws, they all look really nice and I’ve found the square shape isn’t really my preference.

If you have any pretty color gummy dice pros (the not squishy ones) I’ll gladly buy them from you. Particularly the lemon/lime, rocket pop, or the orange creamsickle. Ill consider any others that arent solid colors though

One thing to note is they’re a lot closer to Gummy Dice Pros on all of their bead-using models. The bottoms of the counterweights are made with a second hard resin, but the upper halves are soft enough to not cause a ton of noise on impacts.

I really don’t like normal Gummy Dice, but I think the Pros are solid. I like all of the bead-using FCL weights, but don’t like the grooved FCL weights. Hopefully that gives you some idea of what to expect.

Some people at a yoyo meetup tried them and really liked them because of how much harder they were than Gummy Dice. So if you like the Gummy Dice softness these might not be great for you, but if normal Gummy Dice feel annoying to play then these are the middle ground option you’re looking for.

I recently got back into throwing after some life changes, and one of these is always in my pocket. There’s just something special about a wooden fixie.

Thanks for the breakdown I appreciate it.

@Kalic00 im more likely to use them as trade collateral tbh, i feel like someone with fairy labs would be more willing to swap for another special CW than just sell them.

First off I’m a hypocrite but nostalgia beats out my distaste apparently. I waffled for a while on getting this and really hated that I did till I got the yoyo. In a bubble mailer as usual lol.

For the hassle (I won’t get into that part) and the price point the turbo confusion is a delight. I wouldn’t pay much more for this even with stacks and I’ll eventually throw some z stacks on it myself but the snap of the cork response is just right. Probably my favorite yyf responsive and version of the confusion to date.

Don’t get me wrong I’m still grumpy with yyf and Ben for various reasons we won’t dive into here but I’ll give credit where it’s due. This YoYo exceeded my expectations. It’s got the yyf “quality” at a price point I’m willing to pay for that at.

It’s been a nice beater responsive to throw in a bag on the holidays so far.

It’s really really good. It makes me want to save up for an old ProYo Cold Fusion GT, but honestly, those weigh a lot more and the Turbo Confusion is the perfect weight for 0A / responsive in my opinion. So this is basically a perfected Cold Fusion GT I would assume?
