The body is Fustic and the axle is red oak.

I’m surprised at how well this plays. Neither side played well with its original half so I decided to try mixing them. Despite the halves having a little over 2 grams of a difference, it plays pretty smooth.
The woods are Osage orange and Purple heart

This is my first metal yoyo, dv888. I think I bought it 5 years ago. I played 5a with it for a year or two in my garage. I was so banged up I would cut my hands often. File off the burr and continue.
I thought it a horrible yoyo, once I got newer ones.
I tried it again the other day. Set up non responsive, and can do anything I can do with my iceberg, skyva, snack, etc.
So I decided to clean it up.
Sanded off the ano, and most scratches and buffed it up. I think is pretty good for a first try.
