Thanks! I used automotive lacquer and painthuffer pearls. A few different color and flake combinations together to get the effect I was after.
I loved this series of the “crayon” Serenades. Colors were amazing on these!
This was my favorite of the “Sprite” experiments from this year.
excuse me! I think by mistake I have reported your message, I don’t know how to go back …
The “cold” plating is beautiful… … gold on black looks great!
I’ve gotten A LOT of yoyos over the last three years and none have been as thoroughly enjoyable as my One Drop Top Deck.
TD has some magic!
The magic is a perilously thin body around the hub and lots of rim weight. It is an amazing yoyo, and one of my favorites, but you have to be extra careful not to drop it on a hard surface.
I already did and it’s not dead smooth anymore but I don’t equate dead smooth with enjoyable. All the specs and shape and 7075 and the way it behaves just gives me a huge sense of relief after playing with other yoyos. Maybe there is a perfect yoyo for each person. I know I found mine.
Truly a special thing for every thrower, finding the “one.”
Let this be a testament to the marvel of yoyo design, for there to be hundreds with the same width, diameter, and shape but play completely different. This is one if the many aspects that keeps my collection growing 13 years later…
Posting LF: Top Deck shortly…
