I have not tried an Aitch yet. I was looking at it though. I like H shaped yoyos but it seems a bit extreme for me. There’s no way to know without trying it though.

The Aitch feels less extreme than the Silhouette and plays better.

That’s a lovely Vanishing Point

It was a gift from my wife some years ago. I’ve had to replace the tip twice because my children wrecked it. But it’s an amazing writer.

They’re crazy expensive where I live. But not too bad when you import them.

I need to get a new nib as well. I had a medium and it wrote like a permanent marker. I think it was just that nib though, all my other Pilots write much finer. Glad you got your hands on it. Is that the Blue Carbonesque color?

Yes it is. Finding a new nib wasn’t easy in my country either. But once found wasn’t to difficult to install.

The nibs are not cheap either. I was surprised at how easy it was to take apart. It really is a nice pen

Its plays like a lighter version of the silhouette and plays a little more jumpy/hoppy. It is an extreme shape but looks different than it plays. I almost guarantee if you like the silhouette you will really like the aitch… they are also both weirdly satisfying on the catch…

Every Walmart and Kroger (Fry’s, Ralph’s, smith’s, etc) within 75 miles of me is sold out of imperials and butterflies. I was hoping to buy up all their stock for a project I have in mind, but can’t find a single one. Everywhere else they’re above retail.

I also bought this a few months ago, its not new necessarily.

I would have never looked twice at the Silhouette if it had a solid color. It was being One Drop and the splash / splatter ano that caught my attention and made me buy it and now it’s the splash / splatter ano, the way it looks spinning, and the shape that has made it a Keeper.

I got the same color at a local toy shop last weekend. Love me some Butterfly action

Got my Survivalist in the mail yesterday evening. Loving the plastic’s texture, the weight of it and how solid it feels. I knew it was compact but it’s still smaller than I was imagining. Gap is wider than the legend wing too, my intro to fixed axle; it sleeps way easier and the response is taking some getting used to. I’ve been landing my stalls more consistently on it, getting the hang of makin da zines faster than on the wing. Going to keep playing with it primarily through the week to get a better feel for it.
