What are you throwing in 2021?

I purchased way too many yo-yos than I actually need this year. And didn’t give each of them enough love (what a shame).
So starting from TODAY I’m challenging myself: On each day try to stick to one yoyo, throw it for at least 30 mins, and don’t buy a new one until I go through all of the existing ones.

:white_check_mark: Day 1: Acadia. Unfortunately after a day of play, my first impression is still valid (to me)… :disappointed_relieved:
:white_check_mark: Day 2: Bi-Shutter. Like a Ninja / samurai lol. Clean, balanced, quiet but deadly
:white_check_mark: Day 3: Centrifuge. This explains why you need to spend $300 on a yoyo. A superb titanium
:white_check_mark: Day 4: Comic Sans. A nimble yet powerful cup
:white_check_mark: Day 5: Converge. A dope experiment
:white_check_mark: Day 6: Aiolos. A budget Draupnir? I wish there’s a 7075 version of it.
:white_check_mark: Day 7: Bootleg Dazzler. Why in hell did I get it in the first place?
:white_check_mark: Day 8: Dove. Plays pretty well for a plastic throw
:white_check_mark: Day 9: Bootleg Draupnir.
:white_check_mark: Day 10: Edge Ultimatum. The ultimate Edge!!! So damn good.
:white_check_mark: Day 11: Edge Beyond. aka Edge Brick. Quite unique in my collection.
:white_check_mark: Day 12: Euclase. Where you go, it follows.
:white_check_mark: Day 13: Exia. Really balanced and well designed. It’s probably not extreme in any aspects, but everything feels just right.
:white_check_mark: Day 14: Expedition. I wonder if this would sell better if it’s made by clyw solely
:white_check_mark: Day 15: Haast. Stable, heavy & moves fast
:white_check_mark: Day 16: Helvetica. So elegant! My favorite yyr typeface.
:white_check_mark: Day 17: Hummingbird. (Might be) A bit overrated to be a Draupnir killer. But still incredibly light yet stable & powerful.
:white_check_mark: Day 18: Ibex. It just feels right.
:white_check_mark: Day 19: Invaders Must Die. Stable & Smooth & fast. Feel a bit heavy though.
:white_check_mark: Day 20: K2. I’ve forgotten most of the responsive yoyo tricks… A day of Eli hop & boingy-boing for me :man_shrugging:.
:white_check_mark: Day 21: Kutax 2. Really powerful & stable, yet doesn’t feel reluctant. Plus, it looks GORGEOUS
:white_check_mark: Day 22: Krown. C3 really knows how to make a beautiful yoyo.
:white_check_mark: Day 23: Krown Ti. It really sings!
:white_check_mark: Day 24: Level 6. Good for the price!
:white_check_mark: Day 25: Draupnir. Legendary.

--------- Half way done! ---------

:white_check_mark: Day 26: Metal Skyva. The best performing plastic yoyo? Extremely nimble but reasonably stable.
:white_check_mark: Day 27: Nimbus. A nimble Valkyrie?
:white_check_mark: Day 28: Omnitron.
:white_check_mark: Day 29: Onslaught. I gotta say YYR yoyos are expensive for a reason. They do have a premium feel when playing.
:white_check_mark: Day 30: Overdrive Draupnir. This is SOOO beautiful.
:white_check_mark: Day 31: Peregrine. Indeed a flagship.
:white_check_mark: Day 32: Space crown.
:white_check_mark: Day 33: Radius 7068. If I can only keep one yoyo then this would be it. A quality spin machine
:white_check_mark: Day 34: Radius Ti. At first, it feels cheap. However, the more I play, the better it gets. And now it’s my favorite Ti.
:white_check_mark: Day 35: Replay Pro. Thought I would never be used to this again… But I was wrong. It’s decent!
:white_check_mark: Day 36: Shutter. Hmm… Good?
:white_check_mark: Day 37: Shutter Wide angle. Hmm… Better than the OG Shutter?
:white_check_mark: Day 38: Siege. I didn’t notice this before, but this yoyo has a very satisfying response system. It provides a tight bind but does not snag. An ultimate speed monster.
:white_check_mark: Day 39: Slow. Fairly all rounded.
:white_check_mark: Day 40: Steel Shutter. Pretty fun to play, but it never stop telling me about how s**k I am…
:white_check_mark: Day 41: Sugar. I do need some sugar in my life
:white_check_mark: Day 42: Surveil. At first, I thought it was ok. Very stable but lack of some momentum. However, after changing to a shorter string, this thing just blew me away. Crazily well balanced, SO good.
:white_check_mark: Day 43: T9. A powerful mini cup
:white_check_mark: Day 44: TianYou. Relaxing & Fun. Fully expressed the beauty of a mono-metal
:white_check_mark: Day 45: Ti Sunbird. I love it. I hate it.
:white_check_mark: Day 46: Trion Crash. It plays like nothing else. If there’s no Nimbus or Centrifuge, then this would be my yoyo of the year.
:white_check_mark: Day 47: Valkyrie (The new one). I used to think it’s too heavy. Now it’s growing in me. Weird.
:white_check_mark: Day 48: XIN. The plastic body makes it a very good candidate for learning new tricks. But the yoyo itself is kind of … boring.
:white_check_mark: Day 49: Y03. Now I think MYY is the most underrated brand. They are able to deliver some awesome throws at a crazy price.
:white_check_mark: Day 50: Z01. Again, crazy value for price. Very nimble yet powerful.

———— Done!!! (Not yet) ————

:white_check_mark: Day 52: Radius Nexus. I guess it’s safe to say that I love every Radius
:white_check_mark: Day 53: Radius 7075.
:white_check_mark: Day 54: Twin Drive. Strange… I couldn’t find any other words except “strange”. It’s something I’ve never experienced and I simply don’t know how to describe it. People who love it might love it to death, but people who don’t get the point might think it’s good but boring. I don’t know, weird.
:white_check_mark: Day 55: Edolass. C3 knows how to make a smooth & premium yoyo. The ancestor of the peregrine
