Organic September
Imagining you flipping the skeletool like a balisong.
They do not do that. Their hinges have a lot of resistance.
My travel yoyo for this week: TP Bullet Ant
Compact
Performant
Durable
Ceramic bearing for easy cleaning
Still one of my favorites, despite what detractors have to say about the 888x. Plays awesome, if you want to change my mind, please DM me and we can arrange for you to send me an OG 888 for this 888x

Have also been enjoying this Decade more and more every time I pick it up. It really shines with a thinner string, and the finish is probably the nicest feeling texture of my entire collection.
I had put Summer Tires in my Beater, and that turned out to be a mistake. I didn’t realize this had a deeper pad recess than most other CLYWs, so I swapped one half back to a snow tire. I know that fails PA safety inspection, but I’m a Licensed safety and emissions Inspector and I understand the risk, just making do with what I have. It actually plays really well with half and half and I think is suits the halfswap really.
Is the 888x bigger?
Than the Decade? Or the original 888?
The decade is just slightly larger diameter and width, within a mm just eyeballing it; like a 1/16 of an inch each way.
Not sure what the difference is between the 888 and the OG, I just know there are many subtle iterations and get the impression that this one’s the black sheep when it’s brought up
Sorry, I meant compared to the OG 888. Is the 888x the latest iteration or something?
Nah, people hold the 07-09 888 to be “the best” 888 and that the 888x and others from 2010 on just aren’t the same, are a brick on a string, etc.
Wow, that’s some beautiful anno!
Organic September Day 4:
Static Co. Sudo
The Parlay is my favorite OD in my collection and would have made an appearance this month, but I do ever so slightly prefer the Sudo. There’s just something about the size, shape, and the feel of 7075 that is oh so right.
Finally got some concave d-bearings, so of course this was the first throw I popped one into! Organic September is a wonderful thing indeed
