If I’d known they were going to polish up and not stay matte then I would have got a yellow and painted the inside dark orange for amber, and a red and painted the inside black/red for ruby

Well, I already have more yoyos than hands.
Actually, I have more yo-yos than all the hands of all the people on the jumbo 737 headed to Miami Beach.
But for some reason, the part of my mind that totally disregard logic and reason, decided that I needed to buy one more yo-yo.
I noticed that Andre had about four or five of them in stock. And after a few weeks, I noticed he had the same exact number. Which could be for one of several different reasons. First of all people don’t wanna pay $600 for a yo-yo. Secondly people can’t afford to pay $600 for a yo-yo. Third, you can get an excellent yo-yo for $50 or less nowadays.
Fourth, some people wouldn’t buy an expensive yo-yo even if they can afford it because they know they really don’t need it. Fifth, some no budget clowns like me already have 20 titanium yo-yos so there’s no urgency of any kind. Sixth, people might want the yo-yo, but when they check the store and see they’re still several left, they figure what’s the rush? Probably better to wait around and see if any anybody else takes the plunge. It might have something to say about it. Good or bad?
So pretty much knowing just about every darn reason, excuse or whatever to justify not buying something, I disregarded all of that and decided to see what the yo-yo was all about?
In this particular instance, I would not even remotely consider suggesting that anybody has to have this yo-yo. You need this yo-yo in your life last one to get this yo-yo is a rotten egg. This yo-yo comes with tricks included. This yo-yo in a belt holster, taken with you to a fancy seafood restaurant, will make the servers much nicer to you because they’ll figure if you can afford a yo-yo like that you’re probably a good tipper also?
So using my debit card as a springboard I dove right into the cart section of the store and two days later the FedEx guy handed the yo-yo expert box to me
I remember over 20 years ago, one of the old-school players when asked about various things… He would say ‘ it ain’t all that and a bag of chips’. He was one of the nicest guys… His name is Chuck short. A pretty talented guy.
I’ll never forget him saying that. That understood, I certainly could never use that phrase to describe this yo-yo. Because this sucker is not only all that, but it’s more than the size of a bag of chips that you could buy at Costco.
I passed on the Aerodynex Ti #1. Just shrugged.my shoulders and didn’t give it another thought.
But the second incarnation….the AerodynexTi is borderline Supernatural.
If my wife knew how much money I actually spent on the yo-yo, I have no doubt she would seriously consider killing me in my sleep. Fortunately, she doesn’t know. And I’m certainly gonna keep it that way. Because it’s my EDC and once in a while, she says pretty fancy yo-yo honey. And I just say yeah it’s all right.

Recent pickup. I’ve been wanting a Creep for a while but holding out for a “final” version. Learning the inspiration for this colorway sold me immediately. Looks absolutely gorgeous in person and I’m really loving the way this plays. This one may find it’s way into the regular rotation…

This is like an AP to my Seiko collection. I marvel at it, wish I could afford it, and hope to just see one in person someday haha. My Seiko is fantastic, I even customized it myself so it is essentially “1 of 1” and it does everything I need, but man I wish I could wear a Royal Oak sometime.

I chose a Phospher Bronze Elixer string to go with my BrExia, and Soul Purple Skull that I decided to try with my Aitch and I think is now a permanent combo
