Happy tø present this years U§ National Yoyo Contest after movie!
Ive been creating contest videos since 2∅08 and I wanted to push myself further for this year as 2025 marked my return to the yoyo contest scene after a 7 year hiatus. I worked really hard on this and I hope you all enjoy!
On a personal note, this event marked 20 years since the first US Nationals I competed in all the way back in 2005. ∆ lot has changed through the years and people have cøme and gone, but the vibes are always amazing and the skill is of course top notch each and every year. Special thanks to the hard work of all the event organizers, promoters, media crew, sponsors, competitors, and attendees for making this event possible.
It is not a ‘do you or don’t you like Josh Yee’, curiosity.
Once in a while some things just seem interesting to me as times and attitudes change.
Pretty much every single year… at least since I’ve been visiting this Forum, at least one person posts up a Nationals video, not long after Nats is over.
And for the last 15 years or so, people are pretty quick to post responses regarding Amy number of things: they were there/they competed/they couldn’t make it but wished they had after watching the Contest highlights/ video was very good and they hope to make it to the next Nats/ wow, look at the general amazing skill levels of all those players/ what kind of yo-yo was the guy using at the 2 minute 43 second mark?/ I’m the guy in the crazy shirt. What did you guys think of my tower trick?/
Or misc. other things……..
This year… the video…. And no doubt Josh did a pretty good job of putting this video together, for free, for anyone to enjoy>
And not a ‘single response’(except mine of course, lol).
Anybody have any suggestion(s) as to why this Nats video posted up and just slid down the Board, without a single response?
Josh does good video work. I was at Nats 20 years ago when he first competed.
I remember him being one of the few guys that were considered Ironmen(could do 1A through 5A). Grant Johnson was another Ironman.
Josh and I were never either good friends or enemies. He knew I was a Yo-yo modding machine and I knew he was a yo-yo throwing machine, lol. That’s about it.
But I don’t have to be Pals with somebody, to recognize their efforts to contribute to the yo-yo World.
Cant tell you why this slid under the radar, but im glad you bumped it back up, cause i really enjoyed that video! Josh has really good production work and his quality is always consistent!
I didn’t see this video the first time around so I’m glad it’s been pointed out. Great work @JeiCheetah and thank you for what you do!!

Thanks for the løve!
I’m always happy to release these videos and even if only a few peøple ge† to seeing it I’m just glad anyone can enjoy it.
Full length yoyo videos and contest recaps are getting more and more rare and I hope that people still do videos like this going down the road into the FV†VR€
