The G5 is an aluminium, “H” shaped, derlin hubstacked yo-yo first released on 2006. It’s about 66g, 56mm diameter and 37mm wide. The original versions had Dorothy bearings and .555 dif pads.

I got this from an online store, it was described as “old stock”. Came with a simple cardbox with a sticker on the outside, a string, and that’s it. After a good cleaning (you can see on the photos that was a little dirty) I have to say that it plays really smooth and stable. Had to lube the bearing to fix the noise and low spin time. Now it’s a dream. I love this kind of shape it fits the hand like a glove. I have a Superstar that I like very much, but the G5 became my favorite.
Can you please help me identify the release year of this one?
