I’ve already learned this trick ages ago so I just had to remember the technique for it. Fun trick!
those pants are sick dude
Thanks lol I dressed as Toji from JJK for a costume party tonight
Week 44—Mumbo Jumbo
Yo! This week we have a cool and simple repeater.
I’m also going to include this other tutorial Jamie made because I think it’s also cool. The first one is pretty easy to do, but might take a second to figure out a satisfying flow. The second one is less easy but not insanely difficult. Please ask any questions that come up!
Weeks later, I’m finally starting to land the takeshi switchbacks trick. Still doing something wrong on the BB27. Progress is being made and fun is being had!
Got the basics of this week down, just need to get it to flow better and move the actual yoyo, not just everything around it lol
Let’s goooo figuring out what you want to do and being able to get through a trick is a super important step so nice work yo!
Mumbo jumbo took me a bit to get down what fingers I wanted to use for it. I’m definitely using my thumb more/differently, but it feels way smoother doing it like this for me.
For the other one, once he referenced ninja vanish I figured I’d try starting it from a magic drop.
Got it! The slack movement is a little sloppy but I’m happy with this. I noticed mumbo jumbo puts you in a wrist mount type thingy that sets you up for a nice rejection into GT so I ended it with that!
Week 44 - Mumbo Jumbo / Umihara hook and Yoink slack
Week 45—Girl With A Basket of Eggs
Yo this weeks trick was suggested by @rickyyR a while ago. I think it’s a good trick. Ask any questions you have. Have fun and good luck!
Fun trick!
You can pull your hands apart on the last drop. This will help open the triangle.
You mean when I drop the red triangle or before then? I kinda like the sticky rt and then open it up step. Looks cool like that
I mean the hop that will land you inside the triangle. When I first learned this trick, I tried hard not to get it tangled because that’s how he does it in the tut. I found that pulling your hands apart once you are at the highest point of the hop is helpful. The reveal is also pretty neat tho
