In celebration of Black Day we released 6 all black sets of our new globe counterweights on our big cartel site.
If you put “yoyoexpert” in the note section then I will include another globe set of a random color.

I’ve been printing rim alignment tools for awhile now but i figured i would spend the weekend figuring out a better aesthetic look and finish for them. After digging through a drawer with a handful of them in it, it became mighty difficult to distinguish which halves went together and what YoYo it was for and writing the name on it in sharpie wasn’t the real solution. After to many iterations to get the name printed and in the correct orientation, I came out with something I liked. That being said I now have a few to many tools sitting on the bench that needs a new home. So if you have an outlier +, want an alignment tool for it and live in the US shoot me a dm and I’ll send it out to you. Internally everything is correct it’s just external appearance. If you need an alignment tool for a different yoyo we have quite a few listed, if you don’t see it listed shoot me a dm to see if we can make it happen.

We’ve been oushing for heavier counterweights for awhile now first with the globe XL and then with our inflatable globes. After the renewed interest in double dice play at nationals it was time not only to redesign our original Astro disc but also put it on some weight gainer and beef it up to a combined weight of 19grams. Now that modern responsive march is over, it’s time to upgrade your responsive winged XT throw into an unresponsive 43mm yoyo. We have made a limited stock of black and white spacers for the launch, other colors are available on demand as well as worldwide shipping.
Other site updates: We adjusted the prices and added a flat rate of $5 on orders. In theory it should reduce the amount of taxes you have to pay and it also means you wouldn’t pay shipping for each item.
New color starfires should be dropping next week, and we added a starlight rim alignment tool.

That’s just what I was thinking as well, love it!

The Duncan spacers had a fragile edge due to the interface area having an angle to be able to mount to different shaped bodies. I tried to take a cross section picture but it was quite intentional to have a thicker edge to prevent cracking.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger. Had to add a starfire too cause I’ve been wanting one but the spacers 100% hit the I need this spot

Starfire is cool, if you didn’t see, it’s twist adjustable so you can dial in the response, or even go unresponsive.
I also pulled the trigger and grabbed an old 2012 era XT off the bays to put this in. I liked the older profiles on those. The new 2019+ ones play better certainly but the v1’s were wider and just had rounder kind of feeling to them if I recall. Going to be perfect for this kit I think.

The calendar says spring started last month, Mother Nature didn’t get the memo after dropping a couple inches of snow on us yesterday 
. Maybe, just maybe, if we sacrifice a StarFire to Hades spring might arrive sooner
. Just a thought we had but lavender StarFires will be available later this week.
