I’ll have one regularly updating post for all of 2026, for all BST pleasures. Check back in often!
$ for $ Trades
These trades are open to all 1A, and 5A non-polycarbonate models I’ve never played! If it is near mint, undamaged, and I’ve never thrown it, the answer is yes!
The Catch: Trades are one yo-yo for one yo-yo. The retail price of the trade you offer should be within $10 USD (plus, or minus) of the retail price on the trade sought from this post[1]. All trades require BST feedback in good standing, or the “you first” method. Let’s try new things! (My Feedback)
( * ) Original Retail Price - for reference, not intended for sale
If listed with NM, it means the yo-yo has been played, but has zero damage. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions, or to request additional photos. All yo-yos have original boxes with the exception of Power (no box), ERCIM (random bag), and Triumph (random box).
Hunting
Already found!!! The community here is something special. You folks are consistently boiling over with kindness. Thank you dearly for being such beautiful creatures.
Jonny - Faye Webster/Empathy
Until another quest is before me, thank you folks. Truly.

One yoyo known as Snapdragon from Freshly Dirty for a Pay it Forward.
The Why: Because I’d love to see folks do with this what I meant to. I made this purchase to play “Will it Stem”…yet, I never got around to it, and I am convinced I won’t get to it any time soon. I’d love for anyone interested to get the chance to see what weird, wild, shouldn’t be a yo-yo they can create with the Stem System.
The Details: You’ve got two weeks to throw it around, ponder what might be, take it apart, and create wonderment! Come back here, and post a few seconds of your creation in motion! All ask is that the Stem System itself doesn’t get modified, and if it gets juicy please clean it before it’s next journey. Otherwise, get weird with it! Post here, or message me to be added to the list. Feedback in good standing, or sponsor required.
This has been an ongoing, and until now, unannounced deal on ten packs of the strings I make. I never intended to sell my strings. I only ever made them to suit my preferences. Considering the time + material + shipping + turning a hobby into a job equation, I don’t want to sell them. But I do give away a sampler pack in every BST transaction I do. Occasionally I am contacted about those stings, and I offer a barter deal for a ten pack.
The Deal: The barter is a ten pack of house strings, for something local to you. It does not matter what, as long as the item(s) are considered exclusive to your patch of Earth. I’ve received trinkets, treats, and treasures! I’ve loved every one. Joy for all always wins. (My Feedback)
I currently have three TWO ten packs available containing formula #41 (white x 4), and #35 (pastel twists x 6).[2]
The oldest known evidence of the bow and arrow, are small stone arrow points that were found in Sibudu Cave, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. They are 64,000 years old.
Pitched lower than a violin but higher than the cello, the viola is frequently viewed as a harmonising instrument. The viola is strung with C, G, D, and A, this gives the instrument more of an earthy, mellow tone than the violin. But being a whole octave higher than the cello, it avoids that inherently mournful vibe.
The longest career in the same company is 84 years and 9 days, and was achieved by Walter Orthmann (b.1922, Brazil), who began working at Industrias Renaux S.A. on 17 January 1938, and continues to work at the company, which is now called RenauxView, in Brusque, Santa Catarina, Brazil, as of 26 January 2022.
Your heart pumps blood through about 60,000 miles (96,000 kilometers) of blood vessels. To put that in perspective, this blood tubing system could circle the Earth at the equator twice.
Singing can help to improve your memory by engaging multiple areas of the brain, including the hippocampus, which is responsible for memory and learning. This is why many people find it easier to remember lyrics to songs than other types of information.
The Big Fin Squid species has ten arms while all of the others only feature eight of them. They are also all the same length which is interesting because other species feature arms that are of various lengths.
The first World Custard Pie Championships were held in 1967 in a small village in Kent. Two teams of four would vigorously hurl pies at one another and be awarded points for a good hit, and deducted for those they missed. Nowadays, you’ll find lots of pie-based competitions taking centre stage at festivals and fetes, though interestingly, the pies used at the World Custard Pie Throwing Championships don’t actually contain custard.
In 1480 Marietta Barovier of Murano’s namesake glass-making dynasty invented the most famous bead of all – the Rosetta (aka Chevron) bead, made using a cane and star-shaped mold in an early example of Venetian Millefiori technique. The bead was wildly popular as trade currency and was used to buy prized goods and privileges.
The cacao tree was first domesticated in present-day southeast Ecuador. Early evidence of chocolate consumption dates to 600 BC. It was often associated with the heart and believed to be psychedelic.
The biggest issue with limes and trying to sort them out by species is that they’re constantly mutating.Different species within the lime category constantly mix with other species, creating more and more unique species of limes. In fact, nearly all limes consumed around the world are actually hybrids.
The classic example of unoccupied time is the Houston airport that received complaints about the wait at baggage claim. The airport made improvements in the wait time but complaints persisted. Finally, they decided to increase the distance between arrival gates and baggage claim. When passengers arrived at baggage claim after the long walk, their luggage was ready, and complaints vanished.
China was the first nation in the world to start producing paper by hand. While paper is used worldwide today, the Chinese kept it a secret for hundreds of years after its creation in 105 A.D. Around that time, scrolls of silk were used for books, which wasn’t very economical. So, an official from the royal Chinese court figured out a way to make paper from old rags and fishing nets.
