I deliberately made it lower case for this reason…

Ok! Noona (our fulfillment person) switched these “safe” countries to USPS so you should see better shipping rates there:

Australia
Austria
Belgium
Denmark
Finland
France
Germany
Hong Kong
Hungary
Iceland
Italy
Japan
Mexico
Netherlands
New Zealand
Norway
Poland
Portugal
Singapore
Spain
Switzerland
Thailand
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Maybe try again if you are in one of these countries. If you are in the US or Canada there have been no changes that would have affected you.

If anyone is curious I’m over half done packaging these stringed sparklers.

What’s taking you so long?

He insists on double testing everything

It’s all good though, I’d rather have it double tested than single tested.

I’m a single dad with a 60+hr a week job that has responsibilities beyond this?

I got them last Friday around 4pm and they’ve gotten at least 3-5hrs a day since then.

I’m making 500 boxes, testing 500 yo-yos, and then packaging those 500 yo-yos.

If you have a faster way I’m genuinely all ears.

Edit: this was apparently a response to a joke.

He’s joking because I indicated in a different topic that we could get the yo-yos pre-tested / assembled from the factory. Long story, won’t make sense unless you know the context.

More context: I am always hassling Jake about shipping more G2 yo-yos…

Yeah we would have shipped out 21 dirty bearings so far if I wouldn’t be double testing.

The idea of not testing each yoyo is really foreign to me. I’m a home brewer. I really feel like that’s part of the process.

It’s all good. Like I said, I’d rather have double tested. Jake was just making a joke that you wouldn’t have context on unless you’d read basically every topic in the forums

I got the joke. In costuming we razz each other all the time with this stuff - you’ll post the materials you just got to make a build that is known to take 60+ hours and within 5 minutes you’ll inevitably see a post “What’s taking so long”.

@HVizier we all love you for the personal effort you are putting into each one. Honestly that’s one of the things I really love about G2 and is also very personal about this project - someone who cares very much touches every single one. That really does add an extra level of special to a yoyo for me.

This will be my first titanium yo-yo, and I never thought I’d be able to own a titanium yo-yo, or hold a Ti-Walker or throw one, or even own one!

@ $140, and the amount made, this makes it possible for me to purchase it. It matches the most I’ve ever spent on a yo-yo, purchased at (guess where) YYE. This keeps it below $150 ($200 Canadian dollars), and to be honest I don’t think I would have bought it at above $150, not that it isn’t worth far above $150.

I think it’s great that some profits are going to charity, where although I am still in debt, if I am able to spend $140 on a yo-yo I certainly can spend some money on charity too.

A dream come true man.

There have always been similarities between the way Jake and I take care of yo-yos.

The Sith world view is just a different way of viewing things, Jedi propaganda labeled them the Dark Side.
