The “rules” are to hopefully keep someone from joining the forum and just stealing the yoyo… if you’ve participated in the community in various stuff like this before without issue I see that as validation of trust built.

This will be on the move later today/tomorrow . Had to fight my printer (hp instant ink) because I didn’t pay my subscription and it wouldn’t let me print a label. Absolutely hate printers….

Wandering off topic but anyone in the market for a less evil printer I really like my Epson Ecotank from Costco. I go years in between ink refills and use it constantly for home schooled kids. Like all printers it isn’t a good alignment but I’ll take this ones chaotic neutral alignment over a chaotic evil printer.

I used to be all in on toner but they raised the price so high over the years it’s not worth it anymore

Yeah I used to have a toner based laser printer and loved it. Until I didn’t, Brother Printers can fight me. Then I bought this ecotank one, it’s a normal inkjet style but you fill a massive tank of each color, it took me like 2 years of heavy use to need to refill a tank, and the refills were a lot cheaper than toner.

Love my Ecotank. My kids print a lot on it, and yet I only need to refill it maybe once every ~18 months. And yeah, liquid ink is dirt cheap, even if you stick with the Epson name brand instead of generic.

Until the printer goes kaput on you. Had ours for about a year when the cyan nozzle jammed and my dad tried everything he could think of to no avail. They don’t make them like they used to. On the upside though, we barely made a dent in the inkwells! 
(FTR we did use it regularly)

Had mine for 5 years now without issue, other than one nozzle clogged a little over last summer break when we were printing less. Self clean function cleared it out.
