have just been yoyoing for about half a year^^ was the hardest trick to learn this far
Landed a horizontal GT! woohoo
Landed the horizontal revolutions thing from a kamikaze mount to a gyro flop, thought I made an actual original trick but in videos I’ve seen a few people do it already :(, lt’s like this:
- Get into a kamikaze mount
- Pop off behind the strings
- Pull on the strings with each hand, this should get the yoyo to gyro flop
- When the yoyo is horizontal, let go of string from non throwhand index
- Pinch the string, proceed to do horizontal revolutions (can’t really explain it)
- When done, grab string when the slack is above your hand, repeat step 3, dismount from the flop

I had to use Hamstring to do it, that string is so dense, I can do any of my whips on it!

With Toxic Gray Matter, I have to throw softly or I overshoot my Brent Stoles. Dunno about 2.0 hook; not sure I know that one. Is it different from Hidemasa Hook?

Noonar, that is some craziness. A recipe for throwing my shoulder out if I ever saw one! 
Would definitely use Gray Matter if I tried it, though.

I feel the same way about my Proyo. $5 maybe? Great little yoyo… screw apart design with wooden axle in the middle; really nifty engineering actually.
For not TOOoooo much more, the Mosquito is a heck of a lot of fun as a responsive string-trick yoyo for $8.50! A no-brainer add-on to future orders for me. I wonder if anyone has ever sili-recessed a Mosquito…
