I’m working on Jade Whip right now. I’m about 20% accurate with it. I’m mainly struggling with the timing. I’m sure I’ll get it soon though.

Finally landed 2.5 hook! If anyone is having trouble, I found this video of Patrick Canny’s freestyle to be helpful (along w/ other freestyle closeups) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78tAdg57pHs There’s a segment in his freestyle around 2:14 where he does a 2.5 hook in view. Also being used to doing 1.5 hook with both hands closer together helped as well, since with the 2.0 hooks and beyond, the hands have to be closer together.

Landed this today. It was super choppy and not smooth at all, but I stumbled through both whips, and both regenerations and the cool vertical dismount bind thingy during a single throw.
…well, technically three throws if you count the regens.
Give me a week or two and I’ll have it smoothed out enough to film!
