Thanks! The “jump” before you land in the last prominent gt is the only part that gives me trouble.
That’s fair. Just keep practicing. Sometimes, I go straight into the setup for the jump, do the GT, and keep going. Also, you can blend Lotus Bloom and And Whut - the triangles are identical.

check your string tension. If its a tad tight, or too loose, its hard to get the slack. Kinda like when you try doin a suicide with string thats either too tight or too loose.

Im new to the hobby so my main focus right now is on my actual throw, and then binding. I think ive finally mastered the frontside back mount. Before all my mounts ended in a knot. Now i can do that one properly.
I also landed brain twister a few times today as well as the double or nothing. Im currently working on the matrix. I have most the parts down, i just have to put it together

i finally got my trapeze down… like almost every time i do it, i land it… ;D
I remember being at that stage! I still do the Matrix everytime I pick uP a yoyo. It is very very satisfying once you get it. Good luck and keep yoyoing!

I finally landed the matrix in full today… I was soooo stoked! Now i just have to keep practicing so i can land it smoothly every time.

Today I landed jade whips, iron whips, and trapeze whips thanks to my new string Courtesy of bigrob! gotta nail triangle laceration and suicide next!
Definitely this. Also look up the current trick ladder for contests. Pick one that meets your interest and more importantly your skill level. Try boing e boing, cold fusion(similar in steps to matrix and it helps with the feel of the 1.5 mount if you don’t already know that)
