The "I Finally Landed It!" Thread

double (or triple?) tower laceration
Still cant get iwasawa tho

Seasick

I’ve “landed” it before but it really wasn’t until today that I felt I really had it, the flowing rhythm. Feels really good. whew!

I know that feel! And just when you think you’ve gotten the flowing rhythm, you’ll do it again where everything feels just “this” much flowier. It seems like this trick almost always has room for improvement and is one of the few that you can get “zen-like” about. I don’t get zen-like about landing the perfect “Superman”, but I can sit around for a good long time just trying to lock into that perfect “seasick”.

Double kickflip, fixed axle.

breakaway to breakaway regen and breakaway to horizontal breakaway regen

Thumb grinds!

I made an accidental discovery of this element during a moment of improvisation last week. Finally getting it to look the way I want a bit more consistently. I call it Rejectrapezious because its an undermount trapeze rejection into a trapeze.

I’ve been doing a similar rejection trick to that Dragon Moon one:

The rejected loop “flipping around” in Dragon Moon looks a bit cooler, though. Maybe see if I can add it in.

I have found a neat little combo element I made. Good transition. Possible tutorial. Can’t fit it into a Gif

Dragon Moon is a good one! I used to do the same exact same trick when I was first learning 1.5 rejection to tower.

The first step of iwasawa tower.

No. A GT that is in the shape of a tower.

scratches head

A GT is shaped like a triangle. There’s no other shape for a GT.

It’s still a triangle. String segments inside the triangle form a tower. Easy to grasp, right?

Hehe, apparently not. I’ll probably slap myself in the head when I see it, but I just can’t visualize a GT that’s not a GT. Are you saying it’s a triangle but with crossed strings inside to make a tower? That probably has a different name other than GT, which is devoid of crossed strings on the inside.

iwasawa tower fit that description too

The dismount is different. Lots different.

Add finger and palm grinds and pretty much any other type of grinds to my above mentioned thumb grinds. Just clicked all of a sudden. Working on the horizontal laceration bind for my finger spins now.

Got my suicide bind down today. I was pretty excited.
