SloppyBinds (allegedly) simple 1.5 rejection whip and Christopher Chia’s 1.5 rejection whip. With the fixed-axle. ;D Video coming soon ;).

I’ve landed the Chia a small handful of times, but I’m nowhere near consistent yet.
The Chia whip is actually a lot easier with the fixed-axle than the simple whip. It just takes less time, and both tricks are spin-killers.
Sweet! I haven’t even attempted the simple rejection whip on fixed yet. 
Also, that trick isn’t mine, I just don’t know who made it up. I think I actually saw Shinya Kido first do that trick a couple years ago but don’t know if its his trick or not.
No matter what you say, I’m always going to refer to the trick as the sloppy whip. 
May just be my technique.
+1. It is the Sloppy Whip, or since as a generality, yoyoers are pretty easy going about trick names, “Sloppy’s Whip”.

Landed over/under boingy-boing last night finally, and today I fine-tuned it so hard that you wouldn’t know I learned it last night! So yeah, that’s my “I Finally Landed It!” for today. I’ve been sort of puttering around with that trick for several weeks now and it finally made sense, much the way that Original Recipe Boingy-Boing did.

Yup. I tried doing a very basic protrusion last night, and it was NOT happening. But, something to work towards! Always good to have a trick to learn in the hopper.
Kamikaze. It’s incredibly easy for how difficult it looked. My transition to the Magic Drop part of it is sort of rough but I’m sure it’ll get better with practice. On to something new!

Stop and go from a Harold Owens The III bind
I love Stop and Goes. I want to know this trick! What’s a H.O.T. bind?

He said the full name, and when I asked which bind that was, I used the acronym to save a few keystrokes… why did we come full circle?
What is a Harold Owens the Third bind? Which is what I already asked. The one I know of can’t be transitioned into a stop-and-go, but I’m quite positive Harold has several binds!

You just copy/paste the full URL from the address bar. The YYE forum software takes care of the rest. Adding the other link in addition to the embedded one doesn’t hurt, though-- the “convert to embedded” code makes that link not viewable by mobile devices.

I guess this qualifies as “Finally” since I first attempted it many moons ago: Broken Sky Bind. The name is kinda misleading because at first you think it means a bind called the “Broken Sky”. But it’s not a bind, it’s a trick, and it’s the “Sky Bind” that’s broken… (and made into a trick by breaking it).
It’s actually a groovy little stop-and-go trick.
