I’ve used the DryPlay treatment before, and I agree it does work wonders, but I have a quick question…Are the effects of the DryPlay treatment permanent? Let’s say I treat a bearing and play it for a couple weeks, and decide for some reason that it needs to be cleaned. After giving it a nice bath in acetone does it need to be lubed or treated again, or does the DryPlay permanently “bind” itself to metal in the bearing?
Needs to be reapplied. Luckily one small bag is enough for a lifetime. 
Have a look at your acetone bath after putting a DryPlay-treated bearing into it and agitating for a few moments. Make sure you have good light, and you’ll see little flecks of black floating about.
