You can verify if it’s a glitch by looking at the bearing seat. If there is a drill mark in the bearing seat, it’s a glitch. Some G2 bimetal A grades may have a little vibe.
Yeah sit the yoyo on a book or something, put another on top, and stand on it. I think that’s the way to fix.
It seems they may be susceptible to some shift in transit. I just sent a perfectly fine brass wraith to America and when it got there there was a 1mm gap between the body and rim! No idea why. Suspect it was due to temperature shifts.
I’d be iffy about putting my full weight on it right away, but I usually put my palms on it and push down real tight. Sometimes I just do it with my bare palm and you can go around and push and you feel it click into place… And if you want to know if it’s a glitch, unscrew it and look at the groove that the bearing goes into that’s right around the bearing seat. If it’s a glitch, they’ll be a little drill bit mark on each half in that area
