Hey…has anyone tried this egg yo-yo?

I’m fascinated by the design! But I can’t find any information about it (besides @sakutaca YouTube video, which is good, but I don’t understand a word of it;).
Is it sold anywhere or is it just a prototype?

Looks like it would be very unstable … too much weight towards the middle. But definitely cool looking and would be fun to try.

Huh, I haven’t seen this before. Is it a fixed axle? I can’t really tell from the photo. It does look quite similar to mine though. Very interesting

It’s not a fixed axle, it has a bearing.

What are the characteristics of this egg-shaped yo-yo?Have you played with it? How does it feel? What are your impressions?

this is the first mention of the egg design i can find from foryosa (this is in the r/throwers yoyodesign discord channel), might be an instance of coincidence unless you had your egg design posted before this

I think this is an incident of coincidence. Mine was posted slightly after I think. Mine is also symmetrical and the gap area is different.

Interesting how similar ideas can come from different places!

Yep, I drew the cad file for this

It’s still a prototype, v2 is still in the way.

This was too special so it took a lot of time for the factory to make it

looks cool, mine was a hollow design, so its basically 2 different caps.

the version 2 will be quite different since it was changed by my team member, i hope it works better than my design
