Hope you get and feel better :folded_hands:. I’ve been having back/nerve issues, so at times I have been doing the whole lay-on-the-floor-to-find-relief routine as well. I’m around the same age and I’m starting to be hyper-aware of my health, safety, and overall fragility.

For other folks our age.. if you’re able, make sure you do daily stretches, walking, yoga, etc.

Yeah it’s a real knife edge to balance on because my primary disability is erythromelalgia and it means exorcise is incredibly difficult. If I push myself too hard exorcising then I trigger a nasty flare it feels like someone lit me on fire. I need to find a good balance. Gentle yoga doesn’t seem to trigger a flare as long as it’s under like 15 minutes or so. I probably need to be a lot more rigorous with that instead of yoga once a month when it’s remember :joy: that’s s will be a good reminder hopefully.

I was about to chime in, but I think this tops anything I could have said, lol.

It’s been a lifelong passion, quit for a while but still would longboard time to time. I landed an Ollie and then landed a heel flip 1 footed and I decided I’m going for it. I still remember how to fall properly for the most part, getting balance back and regaining some strength as well.

I’m trying to be as careful as I can but I know I’m being risky. Still a lot fun tho and I love my Alien Workshop. If I’m gonna get back in shape I may as well enjoy it.

Got my Dirty Caramel today. So different, so unique. It plays great. I can’t wait to get an A bearing Stem Kit for it. It plays really great with the C and the bearings you got @AudreySickburn are very nice!!

I really want an A bearing stem kit too. But I think they stopped making them. Or atleast their website is empty. I want to see how it plays with size A unresponsive.

Arthur has been really busy doing traveling for work and stuff so he hasn’t updated the website. I think he’s planning to restock once his life settles down a bit. I do think he’s making a lot less D and A kits but still making some.

Thanks for the update. I was curious why they hadn’t been posting much on IG this year.

By the way, the folks asking about Pro-Yo guts. Anything I make would end up wildly expensive but I do have good news. Duncan is willing to wholesale me Pro-Yo axles so that I can sell them direct. That way you could replace axles without having to buy and throw away the plastic part when you need a replacement.

Also I’m sure that there will now end up being wooden axles in a Return Bottoms throw or two in the future

ETA is a long ways out though Duncan needs like a 3 month lead time on them and I have a bunch of paperwork I have to fill out with them to onboard as a reseller.

I just gave away my pro yo not too long ago. I thought it was kind of stupid. Just my opinion, I did not like it, but I wish I knew I would have gave it to you

Well I can’t throw them much yet because of my back but I was able to take some nice pictures of the Chicken Pot Pie prototypes now that they are here!

I’m sure this is a way off. But what’s the price going to be

The protos are about $95 each. Retail is probably gonna be similar once I do a run. Production run on these will be small and numbered. Possibly just numbering the boxes lol so I don’t engrave a big old 27 or something on someone’s yoyo.

engrave under the pads on the stems!

these are pretty fuckin slick dude

Might do that! The problem with engraving under the pads is if you want to know what number you got you have to remove a pad? Although if the box was numbered too I guess that would take care of it.

I don’t like shipping them without pads because I have to test every yoyo before I ship them out.

Probably box + under pads covers all the bases.
