I’m looking for a plastic that’s stable, long spinning & can handle most 1a tricks without a problem.
You can’t go wrong with a Replay. I’ve never thrown a First Base, but from my experiences with the replay and from what I’ve heard from others, it’s definitely the way to go with budget plastics. It comes stock with a decent bearing (pretty sure it’s like a $10 bearing in a $16 yoyo…), has a good shape and size in the hand. It’s also just a fun throw. It is definitely stable, it’s long spinning, and we can let Gentry Stein’s 2015 National performance speak for it’s capability of handling 1A tricks. I personally think everyone should have a Replay, just a good throw.
I completely agree with him.
the replay is cheaper (i think) and it comes with a good bearing and isn’t as grippy as a first base and the first base cant handle my speed combos
Replay Pro is the way to go!
I’ve played both.
Go with the Replay.
The First Base is fun, but not very stable.
