People like options. When you spend decent dollars on a yoyo, you want as many options available to you as possible. People want a grinding surface to be able to do grinds, as well as it often fees better in the hand than a smooth/mirror finished yoyo. I prefer grindable surfaces even though I can’t grind YET. I can’t do IRG’s either, but I want the option.
Things like stacks are more secondary. People will seek out yoyos with this feature. But, IRG’s, a lot of people want that and expect it these days.
The more features you can offer, the more marketable the yoyo will be unless you’re just making them for yourself or a select small group.
Well I don’t know. I’m making ten. Keeping 2. Waiting list of 2 at this point. So o need to sell six more. Is that select enough? I wonder if 6 people would buy it…
Looks a little weird in the middle of the walls… might wanna move some of that weight to the rims. increase spin times and all. but I’m not an expert, so don’t take my word for it
haha, I know. technically a blog counts as an electronic journal though I read over the project guidelines. they make it seem like a lot more than it really is.
That may be a problem. I go on vacation for a week and a half in July and there is no wi-fi so I can’t order any yoyos. But there is a store that sells yoyos on the boardwalk
