This happened several months ago, but I thought I would bring it up to see if anyone else had the same problem. First off, let me say that I love Yoyofactory yoyos, and this is not a personal knock on them. A few months back, I bought a blue camo edition Superstar, and a friend of mine bought a purple 888. When we got them in the mail, we noticed that on both of them, there was a whole side of the yoyo that looked like the ano had faded. It did not appear or feel like the ano had worn off, it just looked like the color in the ano had faded. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this, or if they are still having the problem? I haven’t ordered a brand new YYF yoyo in a while.
A lot of 09 888s had ano fade problems.
Yup. My 888 is really faded.
Not that original bright aqua.
I am glad it wasn’t just me that noticed it.However, regardless of whether or not the ano faded, YoYoFactory is still flipping awesome. I love their wheels.
