Yeah. This specific one is an original of mine (I believe), but this tutorial by Lord MrMatio shows the basic principle of how all of these work.
Once you understand the principle then it’s easy to make tricks that put you in that trick setup. Basically what you want to find is a way to get into a reverse triangle that you can get out of the back. Sometimes it also works from the front depending on the slack position or if there’s more than one string wrap on the triangle.

Been trying to learn tension hook for a while, just can’t seem to wrap my head around it.

I’ll try to find the video I learned it from. It was helpful because there was an overhead shot which helped me realize what needs to happen to make it work.
