@EOS44 's Red Triangle Rejection
Really really sick trick! I started it for the whip bc I knew I could get that far and didn’t have this move in my yocab yet…I was super nervous for the rejection catching the yoyo bc I suck at that kind of element. I think they’re sick tho and this was hard but I had some major breakthroughs. Def going to keep practicing this one.
awesome. thank you so much for learning.

New slack combo I’ve been working on, a few misses in this clip I’m still working on smoothness and consistency with this one
Sakata Wave by Atsushi Sakata
I can’t get this to not thunk down on the string so hard every rep but w/e I learned a cool new magic drop-ish entrance to wrist mount.
London is back to be the windiest place on the planet so I am back into my kitchen for this combo, hope you like it and that where you live the weather is much better! Much love

Been working on smoothing out Bonesplint. Thanks to @GTDropKnot and @bheinz63 for helping me figure some parts out. I skip the one roll after you swing it off the string like how it’s taught in the throw video for now, might add it once I get more comfortable with it. I kept getting tangled in that part. Swinging little segments off the string has been an issue for me for awhile. This trick actually helped me get better at it and now I can get through white Buddha. Still sloppy though. Gonna work on smoothing that out trick this weekend. I think I read in the trick a day thread that there is a rejection in the a-rt tutorial of bonesplint. Where is it at in it?
This looks good! Nice! I think Tyler does it in the fast version @mable pointed that out and I think she can prolly tell you…I didn’t notice a rejection when I learned this one but Tyler does the trick a little different fast vs slow and I wasn’t paying attention that hard
At 56 seconds in this video, you’re doing a slightly different version of the trick. When you do the string hit on the bottom before the rejection, you use that string hit to redirect the yoyo into a full swing back around. Tyler hits that string and then mounts the yoyo without swinging it back around.
I got you I see it now thanks. I was looking around wondering for awhile ha. I was watching both videos to figure it out certain parts but went with the other tutorial for that part cause I was getting tangled up there. I thought it was because the way I was rolling it off the string it seemed like sometimes it would work but now im wondering if I was missing the rejection. I’m gonna have to mess with it and see. Thanks for posting that.
Also the way Tyler does that first double or nothing where he closes and opens his hand is so nice looking. I tried messing with it and kinda got string burn from the string getting to tight as I tried to open it back up. I was messing with his other trick on there revelstroke but it was giving me some trouble. Tyler is definitely one of my favorites.
The key to the rejection is your nth thumb pulling back the top string while undercutting the yoyo with your throw hand. You actually do a double undercut move, but its the first that makes the string reject.
I almost have wizard drops down. Its deceivingly hard, but after many days of practice im starting to land it smoothly. I dont even like tech that much but tylers smooth flow style sells the tricks for me and masks the complexity.
Woah what is wizard drop ? I couldn’t find it on google
It looks easy but the last 3 elements are hard (for me) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SYwkKvYVuko
5A May ends and now I’m just throwing random stuff on a FH1 lol
Posted a couple other tricks in an insta post Juniper on Instagram: "post-5A May freehand one gameplay #yoyo #trickcircle #duncantoys #kittystring"
I like this kamikazicide and I’m impressed like I still can’t play clean enough to do hitchhiker on the fh1 yet and youre crushing tricks left and right w it! Hah!
Have you tried shortening your string specifically just on your FH1? I use noticeably shorter string than I do for my normal 1A yoyos, cuz it’s easier to keep everything taut.
With my normal 1A string length I feel like a lot of my mounts sit a little loose, so my normal 1A length is crazy prone to snagging. It might help you get some extra mileage out of your deep state too.
Nope! I’m going to try it though and I have a feeling that will help. I came around to short string 5a bc it’s easier and I feel like quic ahn bc of the speed of play and I bet this will be a good move too…just need to summon strength to get off my phone and start tossing it now hah
Fantastic!
Looks great!!!
I love my freehand one. I actually been working on white buddha with mine. It really helps me tighten up what I’m doing.
